Youth Ministry at Mountainside Communion is an intentionally congregation-supported, intergenerational, family-integrated, neighborhood-loving ministry for students in grades 6-12. We are committed to cultivating spiritual and holistic formation in youth through discipleship programs, practices, and relationships that nurture the identity, belonging, and purpose of diverse young people towards Christian life and faith.

On Sunday mornings, “Confirmation” students (grades 6-8) rotate between discipleship, service, and worship with the larger church body. On the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings each month at 6:00pm, Confirmation and high school students (grades 9-12) gather for “246” youth group – a time of fun, sharing, and connection.

Students are also invited to special events throughout the year – including summer activities, a fall camping trip, a high school winter retreat, and others – as we make space for God’s work in the lives of our youth.
